Patrick Shannon

Patrick Shannon is senior vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) of Allegion.

As CFO, Patrick is responsible for leading Allegion’s global financial organization. He oversees accounting, audit, business development, financial analysis, investor relations, merger and acquisition, tax and treasury functions.

Previously, Patrick was vice president and treasurer for Ingersoll Rand, a post he held from August 2012 until Allegion became an independent, standalone company in December 2013.

Patrick joined Ingersoll Rand in 2002, as vice president of finance for the infrastructure sector, and later held leadership roles in the construction technologies sector, Trane commercial systems, strategy and business development, audit services, and information technology.

Prior to joining Ingersoll Rand, Patrick was senior vice president and CFO for OneCoast Network Corporation, served as senior vice president and CFO for AGCO Corporation, and started his career with Arthur Andersen LLP.

Patrick earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in business administration from Mercer University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
